A bout Me:  I did my bachelor's degree at Univesidad de Chile (astro_uchile). And my Phd at Penn State University under the supervision of George Chartas (advisor).

My research centeres on the study of galaxies that host Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), which are the sites of rapidly growing black holes. I study AGNs mainly through X-ray observations, which probe the hottest and innermost region of the gas surrounding the black hole.
I am also  interested on studies involving observational cosmology, statistical analysis, gravitational lenses and galaxy Clusters.

At this moment I am doing postdoctoral work at Penn State  under the supervision of Niel Brandt aiming to study high redshift radio-loud  and broad absorption line quasars in X-rays.
