There are two interface connectors between CUBIC and SAC-B. The CUBIC data interface connector is J100. The mating connector in SAC-B (P100) is a 100 pin circular connector, Bendix model JT06RE-22-35P. The signals on this connector are arranged in 12 ``geographical'' groupings by signal function to minimize cross-talk between different signals. Clock lines are twisted with their signal returns to minimize inductive pickup.
The CUBIC power connector is P101. The mating connector in SAC-B (J101) is a 26 pin circular connector, Bendix model JT06RE-16-26S. This connector carries primary power and return lines and relay power and return lines.
The pin assignments for both interface connectors are given in Appendix 2. The orientation of these connectors in the interface plate at the base of CUBIC is shown in Figure 18.
